Title and context :<\/strong>
The title 'Miniature' is a reflection on perception and scale. Despite what the title might suggest, I chose to create a visually imposing work to explore how microscopic elements or fragments of moments can coalesce to create a significant impact.<\/p>\n

Colours and Emotions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Colour palette :<\/span>
I used shades of red, pink, black and a few touches of turquoise and white to evoke a dynamic, contrasting palette. Red and pink represent intensity and passion, while black adds depth and mystery. Touches of turquoise and white add a sense of freshness and contrast.<\/p>\n

Atmosphere<\/span> :
The overall atmosphere of the work is energetic and complex. I wanted the viewer to be drawn in by the richness of the colours and textures, while at the same time being intrigued by the details and subtle variations that make up the whole.<\/p>\n

Techniques and textures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Technical<\/span> :
For this painting, I used a photo that I modified, once printed on a glass aluminium plate. On top, I used a dripping technique to create vertical lines and varied textures. This approach brings a sense of movement and spontaneity. I also superimposed layers of paint to create depth and invite the viewer to explore each level of the work.<\/p>\n

Forms and Symbolism :<\/span>
The abstract shapes and vertical lines are reminiscent of architectural structures or urban elements seen through a distorted lens. This symbolises the way in which the small details of urban life can seem insignificant individually but create a vibrant and dynamic landscape when seen together.<\/p>\n

Message<\/strong><\/p>\n

With 'Miniature', I wanted to express the idea that every detail, however small, contributes to the complexity and richness of our environment. My aim was to show how tiny elements can have a big impact when combined. This painting is an invitation to appreciate the small moments and details of everyday life, which together form an impressive overall experience.<\/p>\n

In summary, 'Miniature' is a work that uses bright colours and dripping techniques to explore the relationship between small details and overall impact.
